Step 1
Factory resetting a device removes it from any Genius Hub and removes any custom settings. It does not require a Genius Hub to power powered on/in communications range.
Ensure that the Range Extender is wired in and powered on.
The Range Extender will have to be removed from its pattress to check the connection.
Unscrew the Fused Spur or Blanking Plate from the front of the pattress.
Step 2
Press the button on the front 4 times in 1.5 seconds, and hold it on the 4th press until the light turns on and then turns off.
When the light turns off to remove your finger from the button.
If the light flashes slowly, the device has been successfully factory reset.
