Step 1
The batteries are low in the Wireless Room Thermostat and they will probably only last for another few weeks before the thermostat stops working altogether.
First, remove the Room Thermostat from its backplate using a flat bladed screwdriver and placing this in the cutout in the underside of the device, before levering the front away.
Step 2
Remove the 3 x AA batteries, (note the orientation of the batteries, which is also indicated on to the side of the battery compartment).
Wait 30 seconds before putting in the new batteries.
Step 3
Put in the 3 x new AA batteries.
Rechargeable batteries should not be used as their voltage is too low (1.2v not 1.5v).
Step 4
Select the Room Thermostat with the flat battery
The Doctor will ask you to select the relevant device
Step 5
The Doctor will communicate with the device
Step 6
Wake up the device by pressing the middle button once.
Step 7
The Doctor will check that the device is configured correctly
Step 8
Re-attach the Room Thermostat to a wall in the coldest room of the house if controlling the main source of heating, or attach it in the room that you want to control if controlling an individual zone.
Fit the Room Thermostat onto the backplate by aligning it at the top and rotating it down to meet at the bottom.
