Step 1

The Powered Room Thermostat displays an Er4 error on the screen when there is nothing correctly wired into the terminals for the Floor Sensor. Whilst this error is on screen, the Powered Room Thermostat will not correctly control the heating.

Should the Powered Room Thermostat be used to control either electric underfloor heating or wet underfloor heating where there is a sensitive floor covering, a Temperature Probe (Floor/Tank) should be wired into these terminals to protect the floor from overheating.

Alternatively, if there is no need with underfloor heating, or alternatively the Powered Room Thermostat is controlling an electric heater or zone valve then a link need to be installed into the same terminals.
