If you see a code on the valve that is not a temperature then there may be a problem. The error codes are as follows:
In every case restart the valve by removing the batteries and putting them back in after 30 Seconds. The valve screen should display 21 and the E message should not return unless the valve definitely has a problem. If the E5 error persists see the article: How to - Genius Position the Smart Plugs. For error codes E1, E2 & E3 persist please contact Genius if the valve is under warranty for a replacement. |
