Step 1
Factory resetting a device removes it from any Genius Hub and removes any custom settings. It does not require a Genius Hub to power powered on/in communications range.
First, ensure that the Smart Plug is plugged in and powered on.
Step 2
Press the button on the front 4 times in 1.5 seconds, and hold it on the 4th press until the light turns on and then turns off.
When the light turns off, remove your finger from the button.
Unplug the Smart Plug, and re-plug it in. If the light flashes slowly, the device has been successfully factory reset.
